Once upon a time you had to rely on the page or two that was included in your daily newspaper for the TV guide. Then it became more important and was a magazine that everyone bought to find out not only what was on and when, but additional gossip about the favourite TV stars and shows. You could get a hint of what was going to happen next and then phone your friends to discuss it. Nowadays, you simply go online for the best TV guide. Of course, traditionalists still like their paper copy; at ...Read the rest of this entry »

With the aim to minimize the amount of paper waste produce by office, Eco India had created the Handmade Paper. With this project , offices particularly in India will now be able to minimize the need of paper, the possibility of cutting more trees and help save the forest. Who would have thought that your scrapbooking and card making
had a connection to the Maya Indians? Rubber Stamping is
certainly one of the fastest growing hobbies today, and for good
reason. With its inexpensive materials and creative versatility,
rubber stamping provides millions with hours of fun and
creativity. How did it all start?
'Spanish explorers were the first to talk about a "sticky
substance" that bounced, used by South America Indians. Though
it didn't revolutionalize the world at ...Read the rest of this entry »

When our neighbors moved away, they left behind an old cedar
chest and wanted to know if our family would like to have it. I
was sure I could find some use for it. They're not that easy to
come by, and it was still in pretty good shape.
I already had an older cedar chest, handed down to me from my
father's mother. It had some old keepsakes in it--a framed
pressed flower, a Dutch Bible, a household expense record my
grandpa had kept long before I was born. To these treasures I
added my mother's ...Read the rest of this entry »

When it comes to almost anything we are looking for or need, I always suggest that people take a look online. When comparing shopping on an online store versus an offline store, you are always going to see an amazing jump in prices. I'm talking a few hundred to a few thousand dollars in savings. The great thing about shopping online is that you still can find all the products and services you want. And if it's good quality paper that you want, such as printable paper, heavyweight paper, custom ...Read the rest of this entry »

Bring Back A Memory Night
Here's a great tip for when you are setting a special table for
a family gathering or for close friends. It can be a birthday
party, a family reunion, an elaborate dinner, a holiday or
anniversary - the more people the better, although any number
can "play." For your place cards and seating arrangements use a
"picture-from-the-past" of each dinner guest. Raid your scrap
books and picture albums for old photographs or "commemorative"
photos to place at each table ...Read the rest of this entry »

My 12-year-old daughter was mad at me when I refused to pay $25
for a school yearbook last year. Who are they trying to kid?
In an attempt to appease my daughter, I suggested buying a
little notebook that her friends could write messages in for
her. As it turned out, we found a small turquoise spiral-bound
notebook for about $3 that she really liked. Her gel pens looked
really great on the turquoise paper.
I also agreed to let her take my camera to school on the last
day (it's a fairly ...Read the rest of this entry »
